Black Stars move one place up on ranking table
Ghana have moved a step up in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released Wednesday for the month of September.

The Black Stars are placed 31st on the overall table after raking in 7 more points to leave their accumulation at 714 points.

There were not many changes despite the results of 54 ‘A’ internationals, all of which were friendlies being taken into account for the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.

The Black Stars who play Malawi on Saturday in the qualifying for the 2013 African Nations Cup have slipped to third on the continental table after Algeria moved to second. Ivory Coast are still the top side in Africa.

European champions, Spain remain tops with Germany second and England sitting third on the world ranking table.
