All Is Set For NDC’s Special Delegates Conference In Kumasi
All is set for the NDC to hold its special delegates Conference in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Our Ashanti Regional correspondent reveal that the place is full of activity with NDC flags hoisted around the stadium.

The roads leading to the grounds are also adorned with the NDC's black, green, red and white colours and portraits of President Mahama.

About 4,500 delegates from all constituencies across the country are expected to attend.

The party’s Deputy Regional Chairman, Mr Ativor says the region is ready to host the event.

Meanwhile, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will launch its national campaign for the December general elections with a rally at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi.

President John Mahama, Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, Dr Kwabena Adjei, the National Chairman, Mr John Asiedu Nketiah, the General Secretary, and other leading members of the party would address the rally.

A statement signed by the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr Yaw Owusu Obimpeh, in Kumasi said the event would start at about mid-day just after the confirmation of the party's flag-bearer at the extraordinary national delegates congress at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
