The two dailies devote their editorial to the Eidul-fitr celebration. The Daily Graphic urges Muslims to exercise restraint during the celebration of the Eid-ul-fitr to eliminate avoidable deaths and injuries through reckless driving. While commending the National Chief Imam Sheik Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, the Ameer in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, Maulvi Wahab Adam and all other Muslim leaders for their steadfastness in leading the Muslim community the Paper also calls on the Muslims to use the Holy Month of Ramadan to rededicate themselves to peace and unity. The paper further reminds the Muslim community to abide by President Mahama's message of Peace as the country gears up for the December polls.

The Ghanaian Times also appeals to Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to pray to Allah to grant the nation wisdom and understanding, so that political leaders can lead the country on the path of righteousness. This, the paper hopes will make the Almighty Allah continue to touch the hearts of politicians to enable them to embark on their campaigns with civility devoid of chaos and animosity.
