Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, VIce Chancellor of the University of Ghana

The University of Ghana (UG), says its policy of providing opportunity of University education to applicants from less endowed schools, and people with disability on concessionary basis is on course.

Speaking at the 2016/17 academic year matriculation at Legon in Accra, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu said, the school continues to receive large number of applications for admission each year.

However, due to limited facilities and human resources, it is forced to turn down applications of many otherwise qualified applicants.
