The Deployable CanSat, which was manufactured within a period of six months at the cost of 50 thousand dollars makes the university the first in Ghana and West Africa to venture into Space Science to launch a satellite.

The deployable CanSat took 10 minutes to travel a distance of 170 metres into the sky.

The event was marred by an earlier downpour.
