Kotoko qualify for 1/16th stage in Champions League
Asante Kotoko will meet Algeria's J.S.M Bejaia in the 1/16th stage of the 2013 Caf Champions League after qualifying on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors beat Sony Ela Nguema 1-0 in the return leg of the preliminary round to complete an 8-0 aggregate result over both legs. Kotoko won the first leg in Kumasi 7-0.

New signing, Abdul Aziz Yusif scored in the 62nd minute to hand Kotoko victory in Equatorial Guinea.

Eight teams; E.S.T (Tunisie), Ahly (Egypt),TP Mazembe (RDC), Merrikh (Sudan), Djoliba (Mali), Hilal (Sudan), Stade Malien (Mali) and E.S. Sétif (Algeria) will all join in the 1/16th stage after drawing a bye during the preliminary round.

Kotoko, two-time African champions, are returning to the Champions League after four seasons.
