Some former ministers who served under the previous administration are expected to start appearing before the Police CID to start investigations into allegations that they received double salaries.

According to a letter sent to the former ministers, they received salaries as MPs and as Ministers or Deputy Ministers.

Though the initial information was that 25 former appointees were contacted, reports have it that the Police had called back about 18 of them to apologize for wrongly including them in the list.

However, other sources have indicated that the Police only called to reschedule the dates they are supposed to appear before the CID.
