Aduana Stars Lost By A Lone Goal To Al Tahadi In CAF Champions League Opener

Ghana League holders Aduana Stars lost by a lone goal to Al Tahadi of Libya in the opener of the CAF Champions League on Sunday.
Mahmoud Ali’s goal in the early minutes of the first half divided the sides.
Aduana played well but were unable to overturn the deficit while the panthers failed to score more goals having squandered their chances.
The match was played at Petro Sport Stadium, Cairo, Egypt due to instability in Libya.
The Panthers plays without any professional player and has two of their players in the Libyan national team.
The second leg is slated for 21st February and Aduana will hope to let make the most of the home advantage.
