Alan Kyeremateng denies extortion during 'Cash for Seat' probe

Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kyremanteng has again denied claims of his Ministry extorting or asking expatriates to pay one hundred thousand dollars to sit beside the President during the Ghana Expatriate Business Awards.

When he took his turn at the Parliamentary probe into allegations of extortion at the recently held Ghana Expatriate Business Awards, Mr Kyeremanteng stated that the event organisers were instructed not to take any money from anyone who wants to sit at the high table.

Mr Kyeremanteng said on the day of the ceremony, apart from him and the President, sixteen people sat beside the President.
