Road Ministry receives grant for 1st phase of Tema Motorway Interchange

The Ministry of Roads and Highways acting through the Ghana Highway Authority has received a Japanese grant for the construction of the First Phase of the Tema Motorway Interchange.
The grant facility is through the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
A statement issued in Accra said preliminary works will start by 31st January, this year (2018).
The statement directed Metropolitan, Municipal District Assemblies (MMDAs), business entities, transport and equipment operators and hiring firms, as well as traders and advertisers to remove all properties located in the Right -of- way and the Work Zones not later than 22nd this month.
The Ministry of Roads and Highways called for public cooperation to ensure a successful implementation of the First Phase of the Tema Motorway Interchange project.
