Army denies losing cadet members in Volta Region accident

The Military high command has dismissed reports that six army cadets have been killed in an accident at Amedzofe in the Volta Region.
There have been reports in the media that six cadets who are part of a group of twenty four officer cadets on a routine navigational exercise had lost their lives in a road accident.
Speaking to Radio Ghana the Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Armed Forces, Col. Eric Aggrey Quashie said there was no casualty in the accident which occurred last sunday.
He said some cadets were being transported from one location to another to start their exercise when the accident occurred.
