Ghanaians living in South Africa say they have forgiven Ghana's High Commissioner to that country, George Ayisi Boateng following his apology.
Mr. Ayisi Boateng has come under severe criticism after he told NPP youths in Kumasi that he prioritises the needs of NPP members over others.
Many Ghanaians including the Minority have asked the President to fire him. After immense pressure, Mr. Ayisi-Boateng last night retracted his comments and rendered an unqualified apology.
Speaking to Radio Ghana from South Africa, the Chairman of Ghanaians in Johannesburg and its surrounding areas, Dr. Ellis Ayayee, said once Mr. Ayisi Boateng has apologised, that ends the matter.
According to him, the groups will have an audience with him upon his return.
