Mr Kwame Dattey, Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation Board
The Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation Board (NAB), Kwame Dattey, has refuted claims by the Rector of Mount Crest University College, Kwame Ansah Asare that the Board is on an agenda to destroy his University College, and other private university colleges.
Reacting to the allegation in Accra, Mr. Dattey told GBC's Radio Ghana that Mount Crest University College came out worst of all the university colleges that had gone through a mandatory inspection, hence the decision to place an embargo on it admitting students into its Law Faculty.
Mr. Dattey added that he does not have the mandate to solely make such decisions and called on authorities of the University College to make the necessary arrangement for the embargo to be lifted.
