Finance Ministry Clears 240 New Doctors For Employment

The Ministry of Finance, has cleared two hundred and forty doctors after six months of being unemployed.
Earlier this week, doctors petitioned the media over their inability to secure financial clearance for employment.
Speaking on Radio Ghana's Current Affairs Program, "Behind the News", the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health, Robert Cudjoe, confirmed the doctors' clearance.
He told Radio Ghana's George Asekere, that, they are to go through the required processes and start work in about two weeks.
One of the doctors who signed the petition, Dr. John Diego Korsoi also confirmed the clearance,and said they are yet to receive their appointment letters.
