The Minority in Parliament has called for dialogue between the National Communications Authority NCA, and management of the one hundred and thirty one radio stations caught for breaching frequency authorization conditions.
The Minority has also pleaded with the NCA not to impose huge penalties on the affected stations.
Ranking member on Communications and MP for Sagnarigu, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini said such penalties are an affront to freedom of expression and democracy.
The Deputy Minister for Communications, George Andah said the NCA, is not to be blamed for the fines imposed on the affected stations.
He asked that the minority rather ask Parliament to review the fines.
