Workers of the Volta River Authority have kicked against moves to sell some Thermal Plants belonging to the Authority.
Government recently published an advertisement seeking the services of a transactional advisor on the sale of VRA Thermal Plants.
But Spokesperson of VRA workers, Richard Ampaabeng, who is also the General Secretary of the Public Service Workers Union says, government has not engaged workers on the issue.
According to him, the workers will not agree to the sale of any thermal plant.
He is of the view that government is making such a move based on bad advice.
