Agric Minister hints of implementation of one village one dam this dry season

The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie has hinted of the implementation of the One Village One Dam policy this dry season.
He said the Ministry has a well thought out plan that will be submitted to Cabinet for approval.
The One Village One Dam policy is one of the flagship programmes of the NPP government.
The party in its 2016 manifesto, promised to build a dam in each village of the three regions of the north to accelerate food production.
Speaking at a meeting with the National Farmers and Fishers Award Winners Association, Dr. Owusu Afriyie said the policy will reduce poverty in that part of the country.
The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Naa Afoley Quaye spoke about what the Ministry is doing to remove challenges associated with the supply of pre-mix fuel.
