CID invites Kennedy Agyapong, A-Plus to assist in investigations over corruption allegations

The Police CID has invited Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong and controversial musician Kwame A Plus to assist in investigation into allegation of corruption they made against some key government appointees.
A Plus for instance has accused the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff of corruption, alleging that the two demanded thousands of dollars from people who want to meet the President.
Mr Agyepong has also made similar allegations of corruption against some ministers.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin said the President takes such allegations seriously because he is committed to fighting corruption.
Mr Arhin disclosed that the Assin Central MP has already provided some evidence to the CID.
