A Senator of the United States Congress Chriss Coons has emphasised the need for Ghana to develop a holistic approach in curbing corruption in Public Institutions.
He said an independent Judiciary and Prosecutor constitute a right approach if the nation is to succeed in the fight against corruption as it stifles economic development.
He was speaking at an interaction of a team of US Congress with the Institution of Economic Affairs in Accra.
Mr. Coons spoke about the importance of the independent prosecutor.
Former President John Kuffour expressed optimism about the office of the independent prosecutor saying that office is crucial to addressing corruption in the country.
