President Akufo-Addo restates government's commitment to ensure growth in cement manufacturing sector

President Akufo-Addo has laid the foundation stone for the construction of an ultra-modern cement factory at the free zones enclave at Tema.
The project when completed will create hundreds of jobs and bring competition and technology to the cement industry.
President Akufo-Addo said government will support the cement industry to flourish.
He asked the investors to bring the latest cement grinding machines to Ghana to engender healthy competition within the sector.
He said government will need more support from the industry for its developmental projects.
President Akufo-Addo impressed upon the management of the project to make health and safety of employees a priority.
The project is estimated at 55 million dollars and will be completed within a year.
