Stranded Hajj pilgrims to be airlifed this evening from Tamale

Vice President Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia has assured all- would be pilgrims that they will be flown to Saudi Arabia to perform this year's hajj.

He said the delay in airlifting the first batch was a technical issue and has nothing to do with the Hajj Board.

As at 5pm this evening , the Vice President announced that, a new aircraft was in Nigerian Airspace and should be in Tamale soon.
