An Economist and a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Economic Affairs, Dr. Eric Osei Assibey says the spate of bribery, especially in the public sector in business transactions is rapidly killing the country’s competitive quest to attract foreign investment.
He says the situation is being worsened by the fact that some foreign embassies in the country are complaining about it.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr Osei Assibey said government has to step up its monitoring mechanism to fish out perpetrators of such acts and punish them to deter others.
