A Policy think tank, IMANI Ghana as part of its post-election activities, has highlighted President Akufo-Addo led government in the first 100 days in a video documentary.

The video documentary titled “The First 100 Days: Promises, the Budget, the Story so far” captured the promises and budget of the administration across critical sectors of the economy, security, education etc.

The public screening of the documentary was held at the Botsio Auditorium, Alisa Hotel, North Ridge last Tuesday, April 18, 2017.

Addressing the audience, the Vice President of IMANI Ghana, Kofi Bentil described as satisfactory President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s performance over the last 100 days.

He believes the administration is treading on the right path to fulfilling its promises despite the challenges and urged the government to look beyond election promises and solve other challenges as well.

For close to a decade, IMANI has been rigorously analysing government’s policy proposals with the aim of making recommendations for effective policy making.

According to him, Imani will continue with its implementation of IMANIfesto project; a framework that assesses political parties’ manifestos using a coding system comprised of quantitative indicators in response to socio-economic problems through manifesto analysis and tracking.

It analyses the status of implementation of pledges contained in the manifesto of the ruling party, the feasibility of manifestos presented by political parties prior to elections among other things.
