Most Rev.Francis Lodonu decries on recent focus of policy makers on Education
Catholic Bishop of the Ho Diocese. Most Rev. Francis Lodonu
The Catholic Bishop of the Ho Diocese, the Most Rev. Francis Lodonu has decried how in recent years, quantitative instead of qualitative education has become the main focus of policy-makers and governments.

He said, this has contributed to the poor performance in the schools.

He stressed that it seems expansion has become the issue at the expense of quality.

The Most Rev. Lodonu made the remarks at the inauguration of structures for six classroom, a library, computer laboratory and offices for the local Roman Catholic Primary School at Batume-Junction in the Agortime-Ziope district of the Volta Region.

The about 169,000 Ghana cedi project was financed by a Catholic Women Association Manos Unidas of Spain.
