President Akufo-Addo Consoles Families Of Kintampo Waters Falls Disaster

Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sent a message of condolences to the families of all the victims of the unfortunate and tragic incident at the Kintampo Waterfalls that claimed 19 lives.

President Akufo-Addo, who is attending the 5th edition of the Africa CEOs Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, in a tweet said: “I have learnt with great sadness, the unfortunate incident that occurred at Kintampo Waterfalls yesterday. My deepest condolences to the families of all those affected by this unfortunate and tragic incident.”

At least 19 students were killed and several injured on Sunday at the Kintampo Water Fall, in the Kintampo North Municipality of Bono-Ahafo when a tree fell on them.
