12 world leading cocoa companies to help Ghana fight galamsey

Twelve of the world's leading cocoa and chocolate companies have promised to help Ghana address the issue of illegal mining also known as galamsey which is destroying many forests.
This came out during a meeting jointly held by the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF), the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), and The Prince's International Sustainability Unit (ISU) in London.
The meeting was attended by Lands and Forestry Minister, John Peter Amewu alongside His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.
