Some aggrieved drivers have threatened to embark on a strike on Monday, March 20, should leadership of the transport unions fail to communicate increased transport fares.
This is because, their inability to increase fares against the hike in petroleum products is negatively impacting their business.
In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, a driver with the Progressive Transport Owners Association, PROTOA, Emmanuel Danso, indicated the resolve of most drivers to throw their weight behind such an action, and advised passengers to find alternative means of transportation come Monday.
