Buipe Bridge closed down for repair works

The Ghana Highways Authority will close down the Buipe Bridge in the Northern Region to vehicular traffic from today to March 8 to enable emergency repair works to be carried out.
The bridge will close from 2pm to 6am the following day and only vehicles weighing up to 20 tons will be allowed to cross during the period of the repair works.
The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Atta is expected to join officials of the Ghana Highway Authority to announce the closure at a short ceremony at Buipe this morning.
