The Black Stars of Ghana January 10 stunned Uzbekistan side FC Bunyodkor 2-0 in a pre AFCON2017 friendly in Dubai.

Ghana dominated the exchanges but FC Bunyodkor proved very difficult with a very organised defence.

Jordan Ayew beat the goalkeeper from the edge of the box but ball goes just wide which drew the curtain on the first half with the score still goalless.

Back from recess, Ghana made substitutions which saw Asamoah Gyan score with his first touch of the game.

On 72 minutes, Frank Acheampong scored for Ghana with a tap in after Tekpetey's effort hit the post.

The game was part of Ghana's preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon which will kick off this weekend.

Ghana are likely to play another friendly before the team departs to Gabon for the tournament.

Black Stars line up: Fatau Dauda, Harrison Afful, Baba Rahman, John Boye, Jonathan Mensah, Mubarak Wakaso, Christian Atsu, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Bernard Tekpertey, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew.
