Private Schools 'push' for tax reduction

The Coalition of Parents of Students of Private Schools says, it is hopeful that the in-coming government will factor in some funding for private schools so that they can also benefit from the free Senior High School education policy.

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana on expectations as the President-elect takes office, the Executive Secretary of the Coalition, Dr. Simon Gbene, said this is necessary because Private Schools cannot admit students for free due to huge investments made.

The Coalition also wants the new administration to reduce taxes for private schools.
