Expectations are high as the President-elect Nana Addo takes office come January 7.
The University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG is calling for an increase in Book and Research allowance.
The association also wants the incoming government to make the National Research Fund effective.
In an interview with GBC, the Secretary of UTAG - Dr Samuel Nkubang, said “the first semester of the academic calendar has ended and so as usual, what UTAG would be expecting as a first step is the call for our annual research and book allowance to be paid.”
Meanwhile, for Persons With Disabilities, their wish is for Nana Addo to include some of its members in his government.
The President of the Ghana Federation of the Disabled, Yaw Ofori Debrah says the Federation has already alerted the incoming President about its wish.
